侯世达（Douglas R. Hofstadter，1945— ） 计算科学家，认知科学家，哲学家。1965年毕业于斯坦福大学数学系，1975年取得俄勒冈大学物理学博士学位。1977年起在印第安纳大学计算科学系、密歇根大学心理学系等机构工作，至荣休。2009年被选为美国文理科学院院士，并成为美国哲学会会员。2010年被选为瑞典皇家学院院士。代表作有《哥德尔、艾舍尔、巴赫》《我是个怪圈》等。 丹尼尔·丹尼特（Daniel C. Dennett，1942— ） 哲学家、认知科学家，美国文理科学院院士，塔夫茨大学讲席教授。代表作有《直觉泵和其他思考工具》《意识的解释》等。
